Justin

Coach Justin Dikitanan is CFS’s lead barbell coach. You can find him every Saturday at 7:30 a.m. coaching barbell classes and helping athletes refine their Olympic lifts—an essential skill set for improving in CrossFit as well. Justin loves CrossFit because it brings together people from all walks of life and creates a strong, supportive fitness community.

Justin’s favorite movement to teach is the snatch. He enjoys the challenge the lift presents and finds it especially rewarding to watch athletes grow and develop their technique over time.

When it comes to benchmark workouts, Justin’s favorite is Fight Gone Bad. He loves the variety of movements and enjoys strategizing how to maximize his reps throughout the workout. On the flip side, the workout he dislikes most is Open Workout 23.2 A/B. The combination of burpees over the bar and shuttle runs, followed by a heavy thruster, put him in a world of pain.

Outside the gym, Justin says his go-to meal is a good sandwich—it’s quick, easy, and perfect for life on the go. The coolest place he’s traveled to is Colorado. When Justin’s not coaching Olympic lifts, you can find him at CFS doing CrossFit, or at home cooking and baking while spending time with his little dog, Maddie.
