Thanks for the find Joe aka VD...
Warning: RANT I came across a post on Facebook yesterday in which a particular male I apparently share friends with decided to comment on watching the CrossFit Games on ESPN for the first time and his perception that "all the women look like dudes" and that he "couldn't find a chick without that burly, bulky look." Since I'm not friends with this individual on social media and am unable to comment on his post (which is probably a good thing), LISTEN HERE BUDDY... (and every other person who might share his same thoughts) They don't give a f*ck what you think. Do they "look like men" because you realize you don't have the dedication or drive to look like all of the hard work they've put in? Do they "look like men" because your ego has been injured by the fact that they look better than you? Do they "look like men" because that's your excuse to why you don't carry the confidence that they do? We don't, they don't and I don't do what we do to look a certain way or to look the way that any one else wants us to. What you're observing is the culmination of incredible sacrifice and dedication of a level you obviously don't understand. The interesting thing is, most of the people I've ever heard make this statement are some of the least secure people I've encountered. Not on the outside, of course. They have a presence of being cocky or self-confident but underneath, it's not hard to see that they aren't actually comfortable in who they are. If the way a strong female looks makes you feel inferior, that's something you need to take care of for yourself.
