It's okay to be average...

It is okay to be average, or slightly below, or slightly above or shooting for Regionals or The Games. It's okay to follow CFS workouts (you'll still improve and see results), or add accessories or strength; if that's what you are in too. It's okay to come 3-4 days a week and take your kids to the park on the other days, or attend a yoga class, or a spin class, or a barbell class...

It's okay.

Too often we get caught up in the numbers, in the PRs, and we forget IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE FUN. If you aren't having fun, don't quit, just take a step back and evaluate. Maybe you should add some extra stuff to your programming, or maybe you should tone it down, or maybe you should think of attending one of the classes mentioned above.

The best part of CrossFit, and CFS, isn't who made it to Regionals or how anyone place in the Open, it's the community!! It's looking forward to the people (your friends and coaches) and working out side by side. It's the friends and family in the stands that make it worth it. And of course the post WOD brew.

These things were lost for a while. I am sorry for that. But this past Saturday made me remember. Our Christmas party helped me remember too.

CFS is a family, and no matter where you are on the "fitness" scale; whether you want to compete or just show up for an hour, we are here to help you reach your goals and keep it fun!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and I am looking forward to our New Year together.
