CROSSFIT

Achieve Your Best Result

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We  scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

CVFM @ HI + Communal Environment = Health

A regimen of constantly varied (CV), functional movements (FM) performed at high intensity (@HI) in a communal environment leads to health and fitness.

Crossfit is more than another simple gym class. It is a lifestyle. Functional fitness has the goal of improving your body for everyday challenges, everything from work to parenthood.

Whether you start as a beginner, practising scaled exercises with a goal of your first Pull-Up, or you're a more advanced athlete, shooting for a new PR, we are all here to help get you to your next milestone.

At times we love to throw you into an "Open" work out. This is what you will see the Masters undergo in the Open Tournaments and Crossfit Games. It is a fun way to challenge yourself and see how far you can push. A high benchmark, yes, but very rewarding and humbling.

Another fantastic tool we have at our disposal is the "Fat Truck". We regularly (3-month cycle) request the services of NorCalBodyFat testing to visit us. This will give you the opportunity to see your progress in black and white. It is recommended that you participate when possible. Book yourself in when it is available and keep track of your body

OUR EXPECTATIONS

Welcome to our home, please wipe your feet!

  • Clean and return all your equipment to its proper place after use.

​

  • Follow instructions given by coaches at all times.

​

  • If you are in doubt regarding a technique, safety or an exercise, please ask!

​

  • Dress properly, practise personal hygiene and arrive on time when attending class.

​

  • Always strive to be conscious of and courteous to fellow members and staff.
